Fight Song

The Music of Champions was composed by Mr. William J. Deal the founding director of the LHS Band and Chorus Director from 1946-1968.  Mr. Deal composed the song in 1958 to celebrate the State Championship winning football team of that year. The fight song is dedicated to Coach Oliver Hunnicutt and the members of the 1958 team.

Despite the football specific lyrics, the song is used by all Granger Teams as their official fight song.
